| WEEKEND - SEPTEMBER 3/4/5 -ACTIVITIES |
| Busy weekend at the Maroochy Sailing Club!!!!! Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday - Queensland Optimist Training Camp at our Chambers Island Clubhouse. Saturday - Off-the-Beach Division conducts its first races for the seaon in the Bay at Mooloolaba. Sunday - First two heats of the River Long Course Series in the Maroochy River. |

| LAKE COOTHARABA All BOATS REGATTA |
| Several Maroochy crews ventured north to Lake Cootharaba for the All Boats Regatta on 20/21 August. Check out David's pictures. |

| MEMBERSHIP FEES and CHARGES 2010 -11 SEASON |
| Maroochy Sailing Club is working with Yachting Australia to pilot a system enabling direct on-line membership registration and secure payment of fees. We will be the first Sailing Club in Australia to have this facility.
Arrangements are now being put in place, and we ask for your patience and understanding as the necessary details are implemented by both our Club and Yachting Australia.
WATCH THIS SPACE for further details!!!!!
UPDATE: Yachting Australia have advised that they are undertaking final testing of the procedures. More advice soon.
FURTHER UPDATE: 30 August : We now have access to the new on-line Membership Payment program and are reviewing it, and tweaking it to meet our Club's individual needs. |

| WORLD YOUTH OLYMPICS - SINGAPORE |
| Maroochy sailor Maddison Kennedy has been representing Australia at the World Youth Olympics in Singapore, sailing in Byte dinghies. Maddison score a creditable 14th in the Gold Medal Race. Well Done, Maddison!!!! |

| MAROOCHY SAILORS LEAD THE WAY |
| Maroochy Sailors performed well at the RQYS Frostbite Series over the past few months.
In the Laser 4.7 Division, Casey Sutherland led clubmate Reece Baguley and her younger brother Blake for an All-Maroochy Podium Yardstick Finish. On Handicap, first year sailor Blake took the honours ahead of his older sister.
In the Sabot Division, Dylan Baguley posted solid performances through the Series.

| The Notice of Race and Entry Form has been posted for the Queensland Laser Association State River Titles at Maroochy Sailing Club on 30/31 October 2010. Check under the Calendar and Programs Menu.
Club Members should note that although Beach entries are permitted, an extra charge is levied.
